Everest B.C Trek for 2010 Special Tour in Nepal...

Everest Pioneer Trek Nepal (p) Ltd

Trekking/Everest Base Camp

Description |

The Everest Region
The Everest or Khumbu region is justifiably the most famous of all trekking and mountain regions. Populated by Sherpas, the attractions of this area are the majestic mountains, the high mountain villages, the isolated monasteries, and the local peoples. This area includes the highest mountain in the world, Everest at 8848m, and many of the world's 8000m peaks such as Lhotse, Cho Oyu, and Makalu. First climbed in 1953, Everest still holds a fascination for many, however the Everest region boasts many more spectacular and beautiful mountains, as well as some of the most rewarding trekking anywhere in the world.

Everest Base Camp Trek
Everest from Kala Pattar

The Everest Base Camp Trek
The Everest Base Camp trek is a classic trek which follows in the footsteps of Hillary & Tenzing and ends with an ascent of Kala Pattar for superb views of Everest.

This trek starts with an exhilarating 45 minute mountain flight into the airstrip at Lukla. From here we trek slowly upwards to the Sherpa capital of Namche Bazaar, following the valley of the Dudh Kosi river. It is not long before we glimpse our first view of Everest as it peeks above the Lhotse-Nuptse ridge. At this point it is still many days walk away, but with careful acclimatisation it is not long before we find ourselves high up in the heart of the Khumbu region.

On the Everest Base Camp Trek we visit Tengpoche monastery en route before continuing on to our goal, an ascent of Kalapathar, a rocky outcrop to the west of Everest. This vantage point gives fantastic views of the Ice Fall and South Col as well as the immense south-west face of Everest which was first climbed in 1975 by Chris Bonington's team. This is truly a classic trek which undoubtedly gives one of the best mountain views in the world. Accommodation and food is provided in the local lodges.

Together for Tourism Year 2011..

Welcome To Trekking Infromation In Nepal......

Trekking, The way to experience Neapl's unbeatable combination of Natural beauty and cultural riches is to walk through them. One can trek through the beaten tracks or virgin trails. Eitherway you are in for an experience of a lifetime. Along with forests of Rhododendrons, isolated hamlets, andpicturesqueMountains, you will also discover all sorts of forgrous animal and wildlife, temple, monasteries, and breathtakind landscapes. Along the trail you will also encounter friendly people of many different cultures, offering a fascinating glimpse of traditional rural life.

Trekking is possible anytime of the year depending where you are going. The popular season is spring and autumn. During winter trekking is possible at lower altitudes. During the monsoon seasonyou can trek in the Northern Nepalese Himalayas of the upper Mustang and upper Dolpa regions.these places are out of reach of the rain and clouds because of the high Mountains are unaffected by the monsoon. The best part about trekking in this season, is that the routes are less crowded and it you happen to be a keen on botany, you will revel in the lush vegetation as the meadows blossom in full swing.

A) Camping Trekking

This classic style of trekking is "tent treks" which employ portes to carry your gear and Sherpas to set up camp, cook and serve meal. You only need to carry a small-lightweight backpack with a water bottle, camera and your day clothes. The day usually begins around 6am with tea, coffee or hot chocolate served to you in fornt of your tent. After your tea and after you have freshened up, you pack up your personnal gear and then have breakfast. While you are eating, the Sherpas take down the tents and pack up loads for the porters. The entire group is on the way about 7 am. The porters are slower and the cook crews (Sherpas) race ahead to have lunch awaiting for the groups arrival. Lunch is usually around 11-12. Most treks usually end by early afternoon (often by 3 pm). And once again, everthing is prepared and waiting for you:your tent is set up and the kitchen crew again has tea prepared. And of course, a delicious meal is just around the corner! Later on you have free time to either relax and read a good book or explore the surrounding area.

Cost Includes on Camping Trek
Tents, Foam, mattress, sleeping bags, Kitchen Tents, Dinning Tents, Kitchen utensils, Cutlery set, Mountain Guide, Climbing gear if necessary, Sherpas, cook, Porters, Trekking permit, and park parmit (except restricted area). Cost Excludes on Camping Trek
Clients insurance-including rescue insurance, warm clothes, international and domestic airline tickets, personal expenses such as soft drinks, Alcoholic drinks, books, snacks, ariport tax.

B) Lodge Trekking

Another popular way to trek in Nepal is to using local lodges. These places are often quite nice, serving excellent food and providing many different services such as showers and laundry. There is a limited area where these facilities are available and so be sure to inquire before you go off to a specific region. However, in areas such as the Everest, Annapurna and Langtang Region there are many nice accommodations and one can trek with a bare minimum of equipment. In our package programs we take our clients to some of the nicer places in the regions-for being in such remote areas. I think most people would be impressed with just how nice some of these places are! Like in the camping treks, porters will also carry the clients gear. Treks being from 7 to 8 am. Before we start, we provide hot drinks tea/coffee/hot chocolate and then a nutritious Brekfast. Lunch is provided between 11-12 am and the day usually ends around 3-4 pm.

Cost Includes on Tea House Trek

Lumbini Buddha Birth day....

Nepal has several ancient pilgrimage sites. Each temple is attached to a legend or belief that glorifies the miraculous powers of its deity. Kathmandu Valley is home to the famous Pashupatinath Temple, Swayambhu Stupa and several other famous temples. Hundreds of famous temples are located in and around the Kathmandu Valley. Some well-known pilgramage sites are: Baraha Chhetra, Halesi Mahadev, Janakpur, Pathibhara, Tengboche in East Nepal; Manokamana, Gorkha, Lumbini, Muktinath, Gosainkunda, Tansen, Kathmandu Valley in Central Nepal; and Swargadwari, Khaptad Ashram in West Nepal. Pashupatinath, Swoyambhunath, and Boudhanath are the sites that are also listed in the UNESCO Heritage Sites.

Nepal is also the Gateway to Kailash Mansarovar, the mythical abode of Lord Shiva. Devotees from various parts of Nepal and India throng the temples during special festivals. Even though weak infrastructure renders some places hard to reach, efforts are being made on national level to develop and promote some popular sites.

Pilgrimage sites of Nepal like Muktinath and Gosainkunda make popular trekking destinations. Tours to these sites are encouraged for the novelty they provide in terms of nature and culture.

Pashupatinath, dedicated to Lord Shiva, is the holiest Hindu destination in Nepal.

Swoyambhunath is believed to have been established more than 2,500 years ago.
